Captain Jim Nixon is located in Oriental, NC and has boated and delivered in inland and coastal waters from Nantucket down the East Coast to Key West and up the Gulf coast to Galveston, the San Francisco Bay area, Southern California from Long Beach to San Diego, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Jim is a US Navy Captain, retired after 24 years of service. He holds a USCG Masters license and is instructor certified by US Sailing in both small boats and keelboats. He is instructor certified in both large and small powerboats by US Powerboating as well and teaches formal and customized classes in sail and power. Jim is a TowBoat/US pilot and a certified Emergency Medical Technician in both New Jersey and North Carolina.
